In may well be auctioned as one of the most iconic cars of Elvis Presley: The Stutz Blackhawk 1971. In perfect condition and with just over 50,000 kilometers, its value is estimated at 500,000 euros.
On January 8th it was 80 years since the birth of the ‘King of Rock’. 2015 is therefore a year that seems set for Elvis Presley and therefore it is no coincidence that right now one of the jewels of his garage is being flaunted. This is his Stutz Blackhawk 1971 and has been at the famous auction house of the stars, Julien, which makes it available for those collectors who can afford the luxury. Your price will be an estimated half a million dollars , which translated to euros will be about 474,000.
Elvis got it delivered on September 9th, 1971 at his mansion in Beverly Hills, this Stutz Blackhawk 71 is one of those dreams of super-exclusive wheels. Not surprisingly, that generation in particular, the first, there were only 26 units. In fact this was the second Blackhawk Presley had in less than a year. The first, acquired in late 1970, joined an advertising agreement that included the car at the LA Auto Show and Elvis posed for photos. Frank Sinatra, who also fell in love with this two-seater coupe, rejected the opportunity to ask for it, but Elvis accepted. A few months later, the King of Rock destroyed his Stutz Blackhawk when a car crashed into him in an accident . The brand offered to leave it like new, but Presley refused and bought a new one, this time in black. After the death of the musician, six years later, the Stutz Blackhawk ended up in the hands of his good friend, Dr. Elias Ghanem . One of the few who inherited one of many, and loved cars that Presley had.
Ghanem died in 2001 and now the Blackhawk goes to new owner after the auction, which will take place on 15th and 16th May at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York . Right now, and for a week, the Stutz Blackhawk Elvis is exhibited by Julien Auctions at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

PSA Peugeot and General Motors announced the joint production of the new generation of commercial vehicles Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Partner and the Opel Combo as part of their agreement signed.
As part of the partnership between PSA Peugeot and General Motors , both auto giants have announced jointly manufactured its new generation of small commercial vehicles in the center of PSA in Vigo . This has been confirmed by both companies a statement.
These new models focused on transport and professionals will be developed based on the architecture of commercial vehicles PSA and will replace the present generation of Citroen Berlingo , the Peugeot Partner and Opel Combo , whose first units will arrive in showrooms in 2018. It will have the standard car roof box which most vehicles would have in category.
PSA Peugeot and General Motors have highlighted, as published by Europa Press that collaboration is based on an equilibrium position, so each firm models are differentiatedand in line with the characteristics of each brand.
This new initiative is the third of joint projects agreed by both car companies in December 2013. As the other two are the fabrications of the next generation minivan of both brands in Zaragoza Figueruelas plant and a compact SUV in Sochaux (France).

The Engine of the Year awards (International Engine of the Year Awards ), they just handed down to, can be a useful tool to know which engines have been judged the best. The jury concluded that Ford has the best small motor current offer; Ferrari, the best high power, and BMW and VW, the largest variety of good thrusters.
The committee is made up of 87 journalists from 35 countries, including two Spaniards, and assesses aspects such as consumption, performance, sound and technology. Four absolute awards and eight categories, depending on the engine are given. And Mazda second with its new 2.2 twin turbo diesel (150 and 175 hp) models 6 and CX-5 , which is the best diesel engine rated. The 2.0d and 3.0d BMW turbo diesels are third in their respective categories, while 1.6 and 2.0 TDi VW Group placed fifth. From 2500 to 3.000cc award for Porsche and its new 2.7 boxer of the Boxter and Cayman (265 and 275 hp), which anticipates the 3.0 turbo petrol BMW (305-340 hp).
In the top two prizes, from 3,000 to over 4.000cc, are engines of the most modern supercars. The first prize is for the 3.8 V8 biturbo 600 hp McLaren MP4-12C , with second place for the 4.0 V8 of 420 hp BMW M3 . On engines of more than four litres, Ferrari dominates with authority and claim the first two positions with the 6.3 V12 740 hp Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and 4.5 V8 575 hp 458 Italia .
