Our Services

The Ireland Newfoundland Partnership (INP) assists Irish organizations identify and carry out joint projects with Newfoundland partners.  The Partnership also aims to raise the awareness of Newfoundland, and its Irish heritage, in Ireland. We do this by:

• Liaising with Newfoundland and Irish partners to identify mutually advantageous projects.
• Advising on local conditions in Newfoundland
• Helping promote Irish-Newfoundland events in Ireland
  

INP's work is divided into three areas, each overseen by a separate committee of the INP board. These are as follows:

1. Business and Innovation - The main activities of this committee are trade missions and one-on-one liaison with companies.
2. Education and Research – This committee holds scholarship and bursary schemes for students and academics at third-level institutions in Ireland. This committee also provides advice about Newfoundland to students and academics as requested.
3. Arts, Culture and Heritage – This committee promotes the shared heritage of Ireland and Newfoundland by networking with local cultural and historical organizations, and initiating larger scale projects.
